Building a Magical Relationship: The Five Points of Love, Cynthia Jane Collins and Jane Raeburn.
Solid relationship techniques for Pagans and non-Pagans alike, illustrated through stories, ancient myths and spellwork. The "five points" are the four quarters of the Wiccan circle (here equated with Equality, Consensus, Emotional Honesty and Freely Giving/Freely Receiving) plus Balance at the center. These principles can be applied to any relationship, and the book is specifically inclusive of same-sex and polyamorous relationships.

Three books for learning more about oneself:

The Dance of Anger
The Dance of Intimacy
The Dance of Deception, all by Harriet Lerner.
These three books are useful and accessible guides, aimed at women but informative for men as well. The Dance of Anger is a challenging book that discusses ways anger manifests in our lives, and how to use the power in that anger for constructive change. The Dance of Intimacy offers practical ideas on learning how to be oneself while staying connected to families and friends. The Dance of Deception explores the ways we are deceived as well as how we deceive others and ourselves.

Two books about making sense of our past:

Adult Children: Secrets of Dysfunctional Families, John and Linda Friel.
A simple and comprehensive look at how we trained as children to function as adults and how that can get in the way of expressing our true selves. While the authors tend to be a bit global, their points are well taken.
Genograms in Family Assessment, Monica McGoldrick and Randy Gerson.
This practical book offers simple ways to identify and graph family traits and functions. If you enjoy genealogy, or are simply curious about your family, this book is wonderful.
